When Halo 3 launched, a handful of Xbox 360 gamers were lucky enough to get their hands on the Halo 3 Legendary Edition, complete with a brand spankin’ new Master Chief helmet. For anyone who missed out the first time around, they can either spend their cold hard cash on eBay, or they can try your luck at getting Halo 3 Legendary Edition free from Jake Ludington. This is the kind of opportunity that should make them proud to wear those Master Chief Underoos while they swear at the n00b on Xbox Live who just fragged their drop seat; and it won’t cost them a penny.

So what’s the catch? How can they score their own free Halo 3 Legendary Edition? Simple. To qualify, they need to post a link to in their personal space on the Internet. They can post a link in their Facebook account; they can add Jake to their Wordpress blogroll, they can add a link to their blog on MySpace. Wherever they post their link, they should just email Jake and let him know so they don’t get overlooked (or add him as a Friend on Facebook or Myspace to make it even simpler to track). On 1 November 2007, Jake will choose a winner at random from all the Halo 3 fanatics and Xbox 360 fanboys and fragdolls who post a link.
